Only a COMPLETE idiot could possibly believe that blocking a Canadian pipeline would prevent Canadian oil from ever being pumped/ and /or exported and burned. One wonders just how much greater the environmental damage and energy expenditures will be as a result of now transporting the oil in railcars to Pacific ports and tankers to China, instead of by an inherently safer and more energy efficient means, a pipeline, where the oil can be processed under strict EPA environmental standards and burned MUCH more cleanly than will most assuredly occur in China and the Far East.So if Obama is the standard, I say, "Smoke em if ya got em!" Because, you ain't doing one billionth of the environmental harm that the chief environmental protector in DC is.
